The Eden Baptist Church of Hawthorne raised money for their city’s high school sports teams

HAWTHORNE, Fla. (WCJB) – Members of a Church in Hawthorne raised more than a thousand dollars for their city’s high school sports teams.

The Eden Baptist Church of Hawthorne hosted the ‘Cars for a Cause’ Fundraiser on June. 15.

Residents showed off their slick rides, while visitors voted on their favorite car.

The owners of the five coolest cars got hand-made trophies.

They helped raise 15 hundred dollars for the Hawthorne High School Athletics Program.
