The future of the Sports Illustrated resort is now in hands of the Tuscaloosa council
Tuscaloosa city council has officially set a date for a public hearing to consider the development plans of the first Sports Illustrated Resort.
Councilman Norman Crow represents the area the resort could possibly be developed in and believes this meeting is the first opportunity to get some answers for his constituents.
“My biggest concern is I want to understand more about the timeshare and how that works. Thats one of my biggest concerns and I am also hearing from residents that are worried about traffic, talking about what traffic will be created by this,” said Crow.
