The holidays are in at American Dream with shopping, attractions and more

With the holiday season underway, American Dream is turning into a winter wonderland with its retail, dining and entertainment options.

Throughout the season, American Dream will be giving away prizes and offering entertainment programs. Santa Claus has arrived at the “Holiday Dreamland,” which will remain open throughout December.

In the past year, American Dream has added several stores including Amouage, Balenciaga, Francesca’s, Garage, Gentle Monster, Gucci, Miniso, Rent the Runway and Time Vallee. The dining options have expanded with Around the Clock Diner, H Mart Food Hall, Kung Fu Tea and Little Sheep.

The attractions lineup has grown with the arrivals of Bubble Planet, The GAMEROOM Powered by Hasbro, New Jersey Hall of Fame and Sesame Street Learn & Play. Nickelodeon Universe has added the Paw Patrol Hero Academy.

Here are some of the holiday events taking place at American Dream this month:

Visitors can take photos with Santa at Holiday Dreamland from now through Dec. 24. Santa Paws Pet nights for dogs take place on Mondays from 4 to 7 p.m.

Marcus Live! will host a breakfast with Santa Shrek on Saturday, Dec. 7. Carpaccio will also be having a Santa Brunch for two weekends, Dec. 14 and 15, followed by Dec. 21 and 22. The brunch will include festive activities and a visit from Santa Claus.

Nick the Halls at Nickelodeon Universe has Santa SpongeBob who will greet families, and the Elf Workshop lets visitors decorate ornaments and write a letter to Santa.

The DreamWorks Water Park has Shrek the Halls, with the famous ogre dressed up in Santa gear for photo ops with families.

Visitors can take part in a train ride through American Dream on Geoffrey’s Express running daily beginning Dec. 8 at Toys“R”Us.

There’s also the Angry Birds: Holiday Party with Red the Angry Bird, featuring prizes for a hole-in-one, arts and crafts projects and face painting and balloon artists on Dec. 21 from noon 4 p.m.

From Dec. 8 through Jan. 4, a holiday-themed maze will include festive lights and music at Mirror Maze.

TILT will have their Snack, Snap, n’Paint classes on Dec. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. The Characters of the Dream Parade takes place at 3 p.m. at Court A.

Throughout December, the Rink gets into the holiday spirit with Theme Night Public Skates on its NHL regulation sized ice rink.

Through Jan. 1, Legoland has Holiday Bricktacular Activities, featuring Build to Give, Miniland Winter Wonderland takeover, Meet Lego Santa or Lego Gingerbread and a seasonal scavenger hunt.

Sealife will have Twinkling Tides with holiday lights under the sea, 10 interactive zones, Scuba Claus in the ocean tunnel, a Noon Year’s Eve celebration, and a cold-water creature scavenger hunt.
