The Top 10 Fashion Ad Campaigns of Fall 2024

Celebrating the best marketing moments that incorporate both men’s and women’s collections to holistically reflect a house’s fullest fashion vision, our list of the best campaigns of the Fall 2024 season sees brands respond to the changing role of luxury fashion as both a true reflection of the world and an escape from it.

While the Spring season’s somewhat concerning campaign trend of simple portraits with white backgrounds bled into the Fall season a bit, some of our favorite campaigns actually felt like throughtful evolutions or deconstructions of that approach. It’s not that a totally simple studio portrait is inherently bad or boring, more that they can often feel devoid of creative values or a point of view – elements that are still necessary even for the simplest of campaign images. Courrèges, for instance, tapped into the luxury of white space, finding the meaning behind minimalism with clever perspective plays that tapped into the power of color and space. Prada’s campaign similarly saw its models float in an all-white space, but this space felt reminiscent of an abstract theater set as the characters embodied a modernist exploration of conversation and connection.

Many brands, on the other hand, made great use of distinct settings – like Bottega Veneta’s alien journey through the American Southwest, Ferragamo’s ode to the historic corners of Florence, Vivienne Westwood’s beautiful reconsideration of the traditions of the British countryside, or McQueen’s creep through the glamorous and dangerous underworld of south London.

Whatever the setting, whatever the perspective, it’s narrative, character, and creative voice that drives connections in fashion marketing. The world of images is noisier than ever, but what sets luxury apart is its ability to craft artisanal visions that demand to be seen. The best campaigns do that and more.

Here are The Impression’s picks for the Top 10 campaigns of the Fall 2024 season as selected by our editorial team.
