The village of Schaumburg is pleased to announce Septemberfest’s Main Stage entertainment lineup with Phillip Phillips, Plain White T’s, and 7th heaven scheduled to perform as headliners of the popular three-day festival that will be taking place Aug. 31 through Sept. 2.

New to this year’s festival is an afternoon headliner, Taylor Nation Tribute, that will feature a thrilling musical odyssey that spans the entire spectrum of Taylor Swift’s illustrious career. Taylor Nation Tribute will perform at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, following the Labor Day Parade.

Former “American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips will headline the main stage at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31. Phillips was launched to fame in 2011 following his melodic radio hit “Home,” which was followed by the release of his full-length album, “The World From The Side Of The Moon.” Phillips’ success continued with additional album releases “Behind The Light” and “Collateral.” Recent releases include “Love Like That,” a song dedicated to the unconditional love he has for his wife and child.

Petty Kings, a Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers tribute band, will open for Phillip Phillips at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31. Based in Chicago, Petty Kings has been named one of the best Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers tributes around and has enjoyed playing music festivals and concert venues in Illinois and the Midwest with its authentic recreation of a live Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers concert.

On Sunday, Sept. 1, Plain White T’s will headline the main stage at 8:30 p.m. delivering unforgettable pop rock anthems. Plain White T’s has amassed more than 2.7 billion total global streams, earned two Grammy nominations, and collected several Platinum-plus and Gold certifications across their impressive catalog. Their signature single “Hey There Delilah” went quadruple-platinum, topped the Billboard Hot 100, and earned the pair of aforementioned GRAMMY® nominations in 2008 — for “Song of the Year” and “Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.”

Mock Star opens for Plain White T’s at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1 and will bring 80s Arena Rock back to the people with an experience that needs to be heard to be believed. Mock Star will celebrate “The Best Decade Ever” with fan favorites such as “Crazy Train,” “Rock You Like A Hurricane!,” and “Nothin’ But A Good Time.”

Septemberfest will wrap up on Monday, Sept. 2 with headliner 7th heaven that takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. Known for the famous “30 Songs in 30 Minutes” medley of songs from the 70s and 80s, 7th heaven has been an entertainment staple for 39 years. The band has toured the world, playing the U.K., Amsterdam, Panama, Mexico and all over the United States. 7th heaven has charted #1 on the Midwest Billboard Charts three times and has had seven major radio hits.

Echoes of Pompeii: A Tribute to Pink Floyd will open for 7th heaven at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, featuring its 11-piece band (orchestra) to give fans the true sound of a Pink Floyd concert. In addition to a one-of-a-kind sound, Echoes of Pompeii will entertain audiences with its state-of-the-art visuals such as lasers, lights, video, and iconic images that Pink Floyd was well-known for producing. The band will play all eras of Pink Floyd from the early Syd Barrett days to the later exclusion of the Roger Waters era, and everything in between.
