The Walmart Holiday Deals AOL readers are shopping the most: iPads, vacuums and kitchen storage

If you’re curious about what others buy during big sale events like Prime Day and Black Friday, we get it. Whether it’s learning about a universal frying pan lid or discovering an ingredient that’ll make you ditch vanilla extract for good, there’s delightful thrill that comes from discovering a new product or learning about an item that everyone else is also interested in. And though Walmart’s Holiday Deals sales event is underway right now with top deals on everything from vacuums and TVs to headphones and coffee makers, the full sale ends at midnight on Sunday, Oct. 13, which means we’re already seeing some interesting trends on which deals are resonating the most with eager shoppers.

We’ve reviewed the data and reviewed which deals are dropping into AOL readers’ carts the most during this holiday sales event so far, and the results are intriguing. As it turns out, our readers don’t shy away from a splurgy item like an iPad or new chest freezer. It also seems that they’re particularly keen on getting their homes sorted before the holidays, with products like this rolling kitchen storage cart and this industrial storage rack among best-sellers since the sale kicked off on Oct. 8.

Many of our favorite finds — from the gold arched full-length mirror that belongs in a boutique to Apple AirTags — are on sale and are among our audience’s favorite picks this year, too. If your curiosity is piqued, take a look at the other items that our readers are shopping from Walmart’s holiday sale. But don’t dillydally if you see something that tickles your fancy — Walmart’s holiday sale ends Oct. 13.

Never loses your phone, keys, luggage or wallet again with a pack of Apple AirTags. Use them to keep all of your most prized possession nearby and easy to find.

In fact, on a recent international flight, I stuffed an AirTag into my checked luggage, just in case. It was a good thing, too. Once I landed, I was able to check the status of the AirTag and see that luggage had been left behind in Paris, so it saved us from having to waste time at baggage claim looking for a bag that would never arrive. Thankfully our luggage was found and sent on the next flight over, but the AirTag spared us a lot of stress and heartbreak during its journey home!

Retailers have been moving up the kick-off to the holiday season recently, starting with Amazon’s first October Prime Day a few years back, and retailers like Walmart quickly followed suit. It’s become an October staple, with major discounts, offering shoppers the opportunity to spread out the typical frenzy of spending that happens in Q4. One key difference between Walmart’s Holiday event and the original Amazon Prime Day is that Walmart’s savings are open to all shoppers, not just paid members. Prime Day is still only accessible to Amazon Prime members.
