Zumba and Spice Girl Mel B. have collaborated on a new class called “Spice Up Your Moves,” available on the Zumba App. The short workout features Mel B. demonstrating Zumba steps with her own flair. Designed to be accessible for various skill levels, the class aims to blend dance, fitness, and fun. It’s temporarily offered at no cost through the app.

Sole Fitness, a home exercise equipment company, is expanding into virtual fitness with Sole+ Studios. New CEO Brad White will oversee this initiative. Bradford Stevens, appointed as Director of Fitness, will lead online content development. The company plans to offer free classes for its products, including treadmill, elliptical, and strength training sessions.

Easy Mile Fitness, a Planet Fitness franchisee, has acquired nine locations in Portland and Eugene, Oregon from Lubrano Franchise Group. This marks Easy Mile’s entry into the West Coast market, expanding their portfolio to 50 locations across six territories. The acquisition aligns with Easy Mile’s growth strategy and includes plans for future construction and local marketing initiatives.

My Gym and Skechers have partnered for “Skechers Kids Month” in September at North American My Gym locations. The event features activities and giveaways highlighting Skechers’ Hands Free Slip-ins shoes for children. Participating gyms will offer themed experiences, including prize drawings, digital coupons, and curriculum integration. The collaboration aims to simplify shoe changes for families attending My Gym classes.

Fitness and nutrition company BODi has partnered with Truemed to allow qualifying customers to use HSA or FSA funds for purchasing BODi supplements. Customers can take an online medical assessment to obtain a Letter of Medical Necessity, valid for a year. If approved, they can save up to 40% on BODi products, including Shakeology and Beachbody Performance line supplements.
