Theatre Adventure Wednesday troupe presents ‘Alice in Wonderland’

BRATTLEBORO — Theatre Adventure, a creative community offering year-round hybrid programming to youth and adults with disabilities, will present an original adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland.”

The theater group’s Wednesday Troupe features a diverse cast with great breadth of self-expression. The troupe members will present an original adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s tale that inspires imaginative thinking, creative problem-solving and a delight in the unexpected. English author Carroll wrote “Alice’s Adventures” in Wonderland in 1865. And now, more than 150 years later, Alice’s adventures with an assortment of zany characters still sparks our own imaginations and tickles our literary senses.

Theatre Adventure is in its 20th year. Performances of “Alice in Wonderland” are at 10:30 a.m. May 16 (in-person) and May 17 (in-person and livestreamed). A performance on May 15 is sold out.

Performances are at West Village Meeting House, 29 South St., West Brattleboro. The West Village Meeting House is a wheelchair-accessible venue. ASL Interpretation is provided for all performances.

All tickets are sold on a sliding scale beginning at $15, and are available at theatreadventure.org/tickets or at the door on the day of the performance. Tickets will grant access to a livestream link that can be watched online at the time of the event or at your convenience.
