What Do Black Friday And Taylor Swift Have In Common?

If you’re a Swiftie, it’s a good time to remember that on Friday Taylor Swift is releasing The Official Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Book, and it’ll be sold exclusively at Target in the US. You can find all the details on how to get The Official Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Book this Black Friday with our guide.

Yeeeeeehaw! Paramount Plus has literally just gone live with its Black Friday deal, with up to 76% off both its Paramount Plus Essential plan and its With Showtime package. In fact, you can opt to pay $2.99 a month on either subscription, though it makes sense to me that you go for Paramount Plus With Showtime. Get double the library of on-demand content for the exact same price. Honestly, whoever came up with this year’s Black Friday deal has me a bit perplexed. But whatever floats your boat. Just make sure you get the Showtime package…

I’ve just spotted another streaming deal has arrived from none other than Max. You can now get a Max subscription and save 70% for the next 6 months on its With-Ads plan. Considering Max has a line-up of very exciting forthcoming releases, I’ve gotta say I’m tempted. You can now watch The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 on Max, and 2025 promises new seasons of The White Lotus and The Last of Us!

For movie lovers after something a bit different, have you considered the Meta Quest? I admit, it wasn’t on my radar at all, but CinemaBlend’s Assistant Managing Editor, Nick Venable, wrote about the pre-Black Friday price adjustment the Meta Quest 3 saw, and what makes it such a unique experience:

“Not all apps are created equal” is an absolute truth when it comes to VR, and not all streaming services and video platforms were quick to perfect their Meta Quest efforts. But now we’re at a point where a virtual reality device can add a new dimension for anyone with a Netflix subscription a Peacock subscription and/or plenty of others.”

I personally think the most exciting deals to go live during Black Friday are the annual batch of streaming deals – and this morning a very exciting one went live. NBC owned platform Peacock launched two 75% off offers on its Premium plan, with both its monthly and annual rates cut.

For me, it’s all about the annual deal. You get to benefit from the 75% saving for double the time, and while you are paying $19.99 upfront, it works out as just $1.66 a month. Sure, it’s only a 33 cents saving, but it’s something and – to reiterate – you get it for 12 whole months!

Hiya! Happy Black Friday Eve Eve Eve Eve! (Feeling very Phoebe Buffay with that one…) Welcome to CinemaBlend’s live blog, where I’ll be letting you know about all the best Black Friday entertainment deals available! While we may still be a good few days away from Black Friday itself, with Thanksgiving in between, there are already a ton of offers live across hardware and subscriptions, and I want to ensure you know all about them.

Of course, I’ll be concentrating on the deals I think CinemaBlend readers care about – so there will be no vacuum cleaners or cameras in sight! Unless they suddenly bring out a hoover that you can ride like Elphaba’s broom at the end of “Defying Gravity” in Wicked. Yes, I saw it on opening night and yes, it was everything. Anyway, onto deals…

While I rustle some up, in the meantime let’s look at Jonathan Bailey’s face as Fiyero.
