Swan Lake: State Ballet of Ukraine with Live Symphony Orchestra

Palafox St. Experience the world’s most in-demand ballet, “Swan Lake,” presented by Classical Arts Entertainment and performed by the State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this full-scale production features Tchaikovsky’s legendary score performed by the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Aaron Collins. Pensacola Symphony Orchestra: Dress Rehearsal

Mardi Gras Mambo featuring Lil Jon & Yung Joc
6:30 p.m., doors; 7:30 p.m., show; Saturday, Jan. 11. Pensacola Bay Center, 201 E. Gregory St. The Mardi Gras Mambo, presented by Pensacola Mardi Gras, brings the experience of a Mardi Gras party with entertainment from Lil Jon and Yung Joc. This event includes traditional Mardi Gras food, drinks, and entertainment highlighted with Krewe Royalty on stage with Lil Jon and Yung Joc, who will perform some of their greatest hits, bringing attendees the spirit of Pensacola’s largest event — the Pensacola Mardi Gras Grand Parade. Lil Jon is a rapper, record producer, and DJ known as one of the pioneers of the hip-hop subgenre crunk. Pensacola Symphony Orchestra: Beethoven & Blue Jeans
7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. Dress up or dress down for this annual celebration of Ludwig van Beethoven, under the baton of guest conductor Laura Jackson. This rousing Pensacola Symphony Orchestra program features the composer’s Fifth Symphony along with Gioachino Rossini’s Overture to Barber of Seville and Jimmy López Bellido’s Fiesta! Four Pop Dances for Orchestra. Ray Ushikubo joins the orchestra as soloist on piano for Felix Mendelssohn’s First Piano Concerto and violin for Camille Saint-Saëns’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso. Tickets start at $25.
