MONDAY

Busch Light Fishing Rodeo

Friday through Monday, June 21 through 24. Behind Flounder’s Chowder House, 800 Quietwater Beach Road, Pensacola Beach. Cash awards and prizes await the angler who weighs in the top three fish in 21 different species. In addition to the rodeo, there is the MarineMax Pensacola King Mackerel Challenge and In-Shore Challenge with separate buy-in and cash and prizes awarded to the boat that brings in the biggest king mackerel and in-shore slam. Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. Monday, June 24. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. TUESDAY

Bands on the Beach

7 p.m. Tuesday, June 25. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Bands on the Beach is Pensacola Beach’s popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, the series delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. This week features Vinyl Revival. Improvable Cause

A Great Southern Supper

Keep Flying

FRIDAY

CCB Summer Cider Fest

Friday through Sunday, June 28 through 30. Coastal County Brewing Company, 3041 E. Olive Road. Join Coastal County Brewing as they take your taste buds on a tour of the sweeter side of their craft-brewed creations. This weekend-long tap takeover will showcase a variety of both new, as well as crowd-favorite cider flavors, a limited-edition 16 oz can release, evenings filled with live local music from the CCB Stage, and build-your-own cider flights. Petco Love Florida Mega Adoption Event

Friday through Sunday, June 28 through 30. For the first time, Santa Rosa County Animal Services, 4451 Pine Forest Road, Milton, Escambia County Animal Welfare, 200 W. Fairfield Drive, and the Pensacola Humane Society, 5 North Q St., are joining forces for the Petco Love Florida Mega Adoption Event. The three-day event will kick-off on Friday at each organization’s shelter location and offer waived adoption fees for residents. SRCAS, ECAW and PHS will consolidate the adoption event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hajdi Temple, 800 W. Nine Mile Road, where residents will be able to interact with puppies and adult dogs, engage with shelter staff to learn more about their programs, and enjoy the event’s festivities. Seussical Jr.

2 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28 through 30. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. Seussical Jr. is a lively musical journey into the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss, following Horton the Elephant as he discovers the tiny planet of Who-ville. Facing ridicule, Horton vows to protect its inhabitants, including the spirited Jojo. Along the way, he encounters beloved Seussian characters and learns valuable lessons about friendship and self-belief. Through catchy songs and heartwarming moments, Seussical Jr. celebrates the power of loyalty and embracing one’s uniqueness. $20 for adults; $10 for ages 16 and younger. Gimme Gimme Disco

SATURDAY

Firecracker 5K

7 a.m. Saturday, June 29. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. The Firecracker 5K starts and ends at Seville Quarter and invites both runners and walkers to join the fun. Celebrate the Fourth of July themed race by wearing red, white, and blue. The Kids Fun Run will follow the 5K. Grab a cold drink after the race and pick up your finisher’s medal. Free Fishing Clinic at Fort Pickens

9 a.m. Saturday, June 29. Fort Pickens Ferry Plaza, Pensacola Beach. Learn basic fishing techniques and ethical angling practices through the International Game Fish Association’s Passports to Fishing Program open to all ages. All fishing equipment will be provided for use during the event. Fishing is catch-and-release only. Anglers 16 years and older must have a valid Florida fishing license. Pensacola Splash Fest

10 a.m. Saturday, June 29. Community Maritime Park, 301 W. Main St. Come cool off for the day during the second annual Pensacola Splash Fest featuring numerous water slide bounce houses, water obstacle courses, slip n slides, a dunk tank, corn hole, triple play sports games, misting tents, and the watermelon eating competition. Wristbands will be issued at entrance to enjoy all slides/bounce houses all day. Dunk tank tickets and foam party tickets sold separately. Admission: $15 with wristband. Adults: $5 without wristband. Blues on the Bay

6 p.m. Sunday, June 30. Community Maritime Park Hunter Amphitheater, 301 W. Main St. This free concert series is one of the most popular events for locals and visitors to spend the final hours of their weekend enjoying great music with family and friends in a great atmosphere. Concert spectators are invited to bring coolers and lawn chairs. Guests of all ages are encouraged to enjoy the cool breeze of the bay while listening and dancing to some of the region’s best musical talent. This week features The Blenders. Pensacola Songwriters Rounds Series
