Knowing the most cost effective travel destination in Michigan can be incredibly beneficial. It seems like traveling and products are all more expensive these days, leading us all to trying to find the most budget-friendly travel options available. While it might not be the most popular tourist destination, you can still find plenty to do!
According to Airport Parking Reservations, Lansing is the most cost effective travel destination in Michigan. That was a bit surprising but I suppose it makes sense. You don’t hear about people traveling to Lansing often or planning a vacation there. However, that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do in Michigan’s capital. You can go see a Lansing Lugnuts baseball game. You can check out the Capitol Building. You can also take a quick trip east to check out East Lansing and enjoy the campus at Michigan State University. It’s one of the most beautiful campuses in the country, and I say that with all intended biases.
How did Lansing end up in first place? Airport Parking Reservations says factors like beer cost, cappuccino cost, the cost of a meal for 2, and the price of other recreational activities. You can definitely buy all of those at a better price in Lansing than you could in other bigger cities across Michigan. Is it the best place to travel? Admittedly, no, it’s not. However, you can still have a great time while saving a buck in the great city of Lansing, Michigan!
Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
