Would you pay $130,525 for a luxury experience at Yankee Stadium?

If you were to opt for the most expensive options available — seats, food and drinks, transportation — that’s what a night at Game 3 or 4 of the World Series could cost.

The New York Yankees have officially clinched a spot in the 2024 World Series, marking the team’s first World Series appearance since they defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in 2009.

The Bronx Bombers will face the Los Angeles Dodgers — the 12th time these legendary franchises will meet for the world championship — for Game 1 and Game 2 at Dodger Stadium. The series will then move to Yankee Stadium for Game 3 and Game 4, giving local fans a shot at catching the team in action.

Securing a spot at one of these games comes with a hefty price tag for just about anyone that attends. But for the nation’s wealthiest attendees — or the most die-hard Yankee fans — what will one of the most lavish experience at this year’s series end up costing them? If they opt for the most expensive options available based on our research for this piece, a night at the game could cost them more than $130,000.

Let’s break it down.

The priciest 2024 World Series tickets at Yankee Stadium

As of Tuesday, the lowest-priced 2024 World Series ticket for any game in the series was listed for just above $1,300 on the resale market. The members of the world’s top 1%, though, will be paying significantly more to reserve the venue’s best seats.

For some of the best seats behind home plate and along the field at Yankee Stadium — think the Legends Suite Club, the Ford Field MVP Club and the Champion Suite — ticketing platforms like SeatGeek and Stub Hub have tickets available for anywhere from nearly $8,000 to more than $20,000 per ticket. On Vivid Seats, the highest-priced ticket for sale in any of these sections is more than $88,000.

Tickets for a spot in the Delta Sky360 Suite, located at the top of sections 218 to 222 behind home plate, are listed for as much as $8,000 on SeatGeek, nearly $17,000 on Stub Hub and more than $16,000 on Vivid Seats. Access to similar luxury and party suites at Yankee Stadium will ring in for around the same price.

Luxury catering at Yankee Stadium

Those who can afford to book a luxury suite at Yankee Stadium will have access to an exclusive and high-end catering menu full of different meal packages and an extensive alcohol menu.

Pre-selected catering packages like Monument Hall and Great Hall ring in at $1,250 and $1,100, respectively. Attendees can also customize their catering experience with Champion’s Choice, which costs anywhere from $1,375 to $1,650, depending on the menu items selected.

For beverages, the catering menu has an extensive list of non-alcoholic drinks, beer, canned cocktails, liquor and wine that all vary widely in price. But if the top 1% are looking to celebrate the Yankees with the finest drink the stadium has to offer, they can order a bottle of Dom Perignon Rose for $875.

How to get there

For most people planning to attend a game at Yankee Stadium for the 2024 World Series, taking the subway or parking in a nearby lot will likely be the best bet. But for the elite guests who want a more lavish arrival, private jets and car services will be their go-to modes of transportation.

For the wealthy individuals who find themselves within driving distance of Yankee Stadium, there are several private car services that provide transportation to and from Yankee Stadium, like GO Airlink NYC, Gem Worldwide and Islip Limo. Because there’s such a high demand for these services, those interested are typically required to call the company directly for rates.

Those choosing to fly in on the day of the game will likely shell out more than $40,000 for a private jet through companies like Global Charter, which will arrange personalized inflight services, gourmet catering and transportation to Yankee Stadium from either Teterboro Airport or Westchester County Airport.
