This Week in Jobs: Unfreeze your career with these 30 open roles – Technical.ly

Today is stressful enough. So here’s some sweet news to get through it.

Are you familiar with the perpetually broken soft-serve machines at McDonald’s? The most reliable feature of the fast food’s ice cream was that the machines are seemingly never in working condition.

However, that could all change this week based on a new copyright law.

Previously, it was illegal for third parties to service McDonald’s ice cream machines, leaving repairs solely to the manufacturers, lest the franchise owners void the machine’s warranty.

However, this new exemption makes an exception for McDonald’s soft serve machines, among others, permitting third-party vendors to repair “retail-level commercial food preparation equipment.”

A small bright spot during an intense week.

Need another distraction? We’ve got plenty of positions to pursue below.
