Three new Xbox Series X|S consoles arrive in October

Earlier this year, Microsoft announced that an Xbox Series X|S mid-gen refresh was on the way, with a Robot White digital-only 1TB Xbox Series X, a Robot White digital-only 1TB Xbox Series S, and a Galaxy Black 2TB Xbox Series X planned to launch this year. The company has now announced that the three new Xbox Series X|S consoles will launch in October, and you can preorder them today.

As announced on Xbox Wire, the new consoles will launch on October 15, with “select countries following on October 29.” The Xbox Series S – 1TB in Robot White costs $349.99 / £299.99, the Robot White Xbox Series X – 1TB Digital Edition is priced at $449.99 / £429.99, and the Xbox Series X – 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition can be purchased for $599.99 / £549.99.

While it’s not clear which countries will see the new Xbox Series X|S consoles arrive on October 15 and which will get them on October 29, the Xbox Wire post says, “These console options will be available in all current Xbox hardware supported regions and markets including Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Colombia, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States with the exception of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, India, Israel, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, and UAE, and console availability will vary by country.”
