Fans know Tiger Woods for his exemplary performance on the course. But there is a whole dedicated routine and his practice sessions, which helped him become the greatest of all time. While the records are proof of his extreme practice, mental toughness, and physical fitness. However, in recent years, the 15-time major winner has been struggling with injuries affecting his presence at the course and overall game.

The richest golfer met with an accident in 2021 that injured his right leg and ankle. Following that, he had an emergency surgery. However, in 2023, the prior accident again affected his ankle, necessitating another surgery. The spree of injuries continued in 2024 as well, when he shared about his back injury. While with an injured back, Woods participated in 5 events in 2024. However, he could not perform the best as he could only manage to make a cut in one event.

Now, with his surgery done and the recovery phase ending, the greatest all-time is showing signs of a comeback. His recent performance at the PNC Championship, along with his son Charlie Woods, hinted at his comeback. The fans could see the old Tiger Woods getting back on the course with his club’s roar. Although the team missed the title in the playoffs, the fans are assured about his comeback in the 2025 season.

Following on to come back and his performance, the Drop Zone golf podcast also had a brief conversation with Claire Rogers. The podcast hosts asked Claire Rogers, “Did you learn anything about Tiger Woods’s health?” Answering to which she shared some great insight which will make fans happy. She shared, “I did, I learned a lot. He walked 18 holes, 3 days in a row.”

Besides his recovery phase, this is a great sign to see his fitness level. Talking further, Rogers shared, “80% of the group had a cart. Nelly Korda was in a cart this weekend with his caddie.” But surprisingly, even with a vast age difference, “He walked. There wasn’t a cart where he could sit for a little bit.” Not just this, the discussion also revealed how Woods hit every single shot at the course.

Fans have commented on his fitness as well. Now that his appearance showcased a splendid physique. Even Claire Rogers added to it, stating, “He is back to full training mode.” For the fans and the people who bet on him last year, this is a sign to witness his prospective comeback with the 2025 season. Last season had a very limited presence of Woods and he also shared his concern about his major participation. However, the first event that he will be featuring in the 2025 season is his own brainchild, the TGL. As per the schedule, he will be teeing off at the indoor golf league on January 14 as part of the Jupiter Links team against Los Angeles. He will be seen competing against Tommy Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa, Justin Rose, and Sahith Theegala with his team.

Following the schedule, Woods will be playing the next round on January 27 against the Boston Common team. However, for the PGA Tour events, there is still no official commitment from the golfer. Possibility for his presence next is at the Genesis Invitational, which he hosts. The event will be taking place on February 10. This will be an interesting season to witness for the fans, as Woods is making a comeback on the field with some golfers in their prime, including Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Xander Schauffele.
