The North Allegheny girls’ soccer team opened the season with a 7-0 win over Altoona Friday afternoon at NA Intermediate High School.
Sophomore Bella Montgomery led the way with a two-goal performance. Seniors Rowan Barsotti and Addison Heim, juniors Luciana Zagacki and Mia Bosley, and sophomore Mia Barsotti also contributed to the scoring column.
Senior goalkeeper Margaret Nestor was in net for the entire game earning the shutout.
The Tigers have a quick turnaround, hosting Cumberland Valley at Newman Stadium on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The match will be broadcast live on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
