Tigers games to return on Bally Sports Detroit on Comcast

SOUFIELD, Mich. (WILX) – On Monday afternoon, Comcast and Diamond Sports Group made the announcement that they had reached a new TV carriage deal. The agreement states that fans who subscribe to Xfinity’s “Ultimate TV” package can watch Major League Baseball games including the Tigers starting on Thursday.

Subscribers can also stream games on the Bally Sports app using their Xfinity credentials. This applies to Diamond’s 15 regional sports networks, and if they emerge from bankruptcy, it will also apply to the NBA and NHL RSNs.

This is Comcast’s higher and more expensive tier, but Xfinity has said it will offer basic-cable subscribers the “Ultimate TV” package for three months at no additional cost.
