There are things in this racket that I know, but just can’t prove. One of them is that Colorado is always better when they come home from a road trip than the team who’s visiting. It’s something about the altitude, but that’s a level of science I’m not messing with. A surefire sign that I’m onto something is this line shrinking from the open, with smart money lining up to bet the Rockies of all teams.

I think that altitude adjustment impacts Reds starter Andrew Abbott even more since this is his first start in Coors, and he’s a pitcher that screams regression candidate anyway. The Rockies are actually an extremely profitable home underdog going back years and years through their futility, and it’s sneaky spots like this where I want to jump in for some plus-money.
