This is another relatively low number for Crochet, but it’s because he’s facing the fearsome Dodgers lineup. LA is one of the best at not striking out against lefthanded pitching this season, but Crochet just saw the top team in that department last week, striking out 8 Astros batters. Crochet is averaging 7.8 strikeouts per game, and it breaks down to 1.4 per inning. Since he’s only gone less than 6 innings once over the past 2 months, that’s enough for me to believe he’ll get enough work to find his way over this total.

NHL Edmonton Oilers ML @ Florida Panthers (-105; Odds via Fanduel): 7:00 PM CT on ABC

I don’t know anything about hockey, but I know a mentally broken team when I see one. That’s the situation for the Panthers here if you want my highly uninformed opinion, and it’s going to cost them a Stanley Cup in one of the worst choke jobs in sports history. That just has to be the way this is headed, even non-fans like myself can feel it, so I’ll take a shot on Edmonton pulling off the stunner. And I also have to believe that the best player on the planet is going to get heavily involved tonight, so give me over on 3.5 shots from Connor McDavid and sprinkle a goal at +135 as well.
