NFL (0.5 Unit) LA Rams Team Total Over 23.5 (-110; Odds via Caesars): 7:15 PM CT on Prime Video

Let’s see if Matthew Stafford can stay as hot as he was last week. There’s a decent chance of it in this game as the 49ers come in with the second-worst red zone defense in the league. With the full complement of weapons available, this Rams offense is dangerous as they showed last week. And let’s not forget that with complete no-names at receiver in the first meeting this season, the Rams put up 27 on San Fran. The 49ers defense is much more injury-plagued since that meeting while the Rams have gotten fully healthy on offense, so I think they find their way over this team total.

NBA/NCAA Basketball (0.5 Unit) 2-Team Moneyline Parlay (+100; Odds via DraftKings)

Sacramento Kings -240 @ New Orleans Pelicans: 7:00 PM CT on Gulf Coast Sports

What I’ve seen out of the Kings in recent games tells me that they’re almost all the way back from the early season slump. Their past 4 games have seen them beat a great Rockets team handily, lose a close one on the road to a great Memphis team, and then eviscerate the Spurs and Jazz, dropping 140 and 141 points in the process. If their offense is back to performing at that level, which is not unusual for them the past few seasons, they will tear up a Pelicans team that’s 27th in defensive efficiency. With Brandon Ingram still out for an extended period, I think the Kings win this easily but all I’m asking them to do is win.

Iowa State -200 @ Iowa: 6:30 PM CT on FS1

If it’s CyHawk on the hardwood, I’m backing my Clones, this should not be a great mystery. While this rivalry has tended to alternate winners depending on which team is at home, Iowa State is simply on another level right now. The difference in this game is going to be inside, where Iowa is one of the worst defenses in the country, ranked 326th in two-point percentage defense. The Cyclone offense is based on scoring inside, and they rank 15th in two-point shooting percentage, so that’s a massive advantage. ISU also has the vastly superior defense and much tougher schedule so far to prepare them for this game, and I think they win it to close this parlay.
