Brain and Body Fitness will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays at Aiken Senior Life Services, 1310 E. Pine Log Road. The fitness program uses a chair and addresses primary aging skills that include cognitive function, fall prevention, breathing, mobility and more. The cost is $8 per class. A Beetlejuice Double Feature will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, at the Aiken County Public Library, 314 Chesterfield St. S.W. “Beetlejuice,” rated PG, will be shown at 1 p.m. followed by “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice,” rated PG-13, at 2:40 p.m. Attendees should bring their own snacks and chair cushions. A Square Dance Fundraiser will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at the Family Life Center of First Presbyterian Church, 224 Barnwell St. The event will feature Pete LeBerge, caller; Ashley Carder, fiddle and guitar; Dan Gellert, banjo and fiddle; and Deb Posey, guitar.
