Topeka gets ready to shine with Fashion Week
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – You might think trends are reserved only for New York and Los Angeles, but Topeka has a lot to offer when it comes to fashion.
A whole series of events are planned to celebrate it next week at West Ridge Mall.
Patrice Newton with K. Michaels, mall manager Casey Richardson, and Chris Ware with Ware Houzz Management visited Eye on NE Kansas to share the runway rundown for Fashion Week Topeka.
Highlights of the week include the Fashionably Loud Panel Discussion from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8; an Art & Vendor Market from Noon to 7 p.m. Oct. 10; a Finale Fashion Show from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 12; and a Masquerade Ball from 9 p.m. to Midnight Oct. 12.
Tickets the for the ball are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. You can find advance tickets at Studio 29, 2029 SE 29th; or K. Michaels inside West Ridge Mall.
