It is expected to be another busy offseason for the Arkansas baseball team.
The Razorbacks must replace several departing position players with transfers from other programs, and it would not surprise for Arkansas to have multiple players transfer away.

• KUHIO ALOY, DH/INF

2025 Classification: Sophomore
Hometown: Wailuku, Hawaii
The younger brother of Arkansas shortstop Wehiwa, Kuhio Aloy was named to the freshman All-Big 12 team after he batted .269 with 9 doubles, 1 triple, 8 home runs and a team-high 38 RBI. He tied for the Big 12 lead with seven sacrifice flies. Aloy, 6-1, started 46 games as the Cougars’ designated hitter and four games at first base.
• MICHAEL ANDERSON, INF

2025 Classification: Junior
Hometown: Haverton, Pa.
Anderson, 6-3 and 227 pounds, was the primary first baseman for the Rams. He led Rhode Island with 41 RBI and broke the NCAA Division I record with 12 RBI during a March 20 game against Stonehill (Mass.) College. He batted .252 with 13 home runs and 9 doubles as a sophomore, and hit .316 with 18 doubles, 10 home runs and 43 RBI in 52 games as a freshman.

Hometown: Canfield, Ohio
The 6-3, 225-pound Beidelschies was 6-7 with a 4.15 ERA and 1.20 WHIP in 84 2/3 innings in 15 starts for the Buckeyes in 2024. He struck out 91 and walked 31, and opposing hitters batted .231 against him. On3.com rated Beidelschies the No. 5 player available in the transfer portal at the time of his commitment. He has a big arm, with a fastball that has been clocked at 98 mph.

Boles is a corner outfielder who batted .475 with 24 doubles, 1 triple, 15 home runs, 68 runs and 68 RBI in 50 games as a junior. He earned All-America in Division II and was the South Atlantic Conference player of the year. His batting average and doubles total ranked third nationally in his division and set program records for doubles and RBI in a single season.

As an All-Atlantic Sun Conference freshman team performer, the 5-10 Davalan batted .288 with 16 doubles, 2 triples, 10 home runs and 37 RBI in the leadoff spot. He was successful on 13 of 18 stolen-base attempts. He started 30 games at second base and 26 games in right field. He appears to project as an outfielder professionally and will be eligible for the draft following his sophomore year. He is playing this summer for the Cotuit Kettleers at the Cape Cod League.

Hometown: Pewaukee, Wis.
Hansen, 6-2 and 220 pounds, batted .315 with 25 doubles, 11 home runs and 63 RBI as a sophomore All-Horizon League performer. He had a .404 on-base percentage and .601 slugging percentage for an OPS of 1.005. He was successful in 7 of 8 stolen-base attempts. His 25 doubles were tied for fourth prior to the NCAA postseason. He started 43 games in right field. He is playing this summer for the Green Bay Rockers at the Northwoods League.

Hometown: Sydney, Australia
Iredale is rated the No. 2 JUCO prospect by Prep Baseball Report and was an NJCAA All-American in 2024. He played third base and batted .441 with a 1.576 OPS in 58 games. Iredale homered 25 times, hit 22 doubles and 4 triples, scored 94 runs and had 78 RBI. He is eligible for the MLB Draft is rated the No. 453 prospect by Baseball America.
• AIDEN JIMENEZ, RHP

2025 Classification: Redshirt Sophomore
Hometown: Elk Grove, Calif.
As a freshman in 2023, Jimenez went 5-2 with a 5.68 ERA and 1.32 WHIP. He struck out 35 and walked 7 in 38 innings and batters had a .283 average against him. Jimenez made 21 relief appearances as a freshman and threw six shutout innings in his only career start. Jimenez was an all-star at the Cape Cod League last summer when he recorded a 1.14 ERA and 1.02 WHIP in 15 2/3 innings. He did not pitch this year for Oregon State after undergoing season-ending surgery, according to The Oregonian.
• MAXIMUS MARTIN, SS

Hometown: Edgewater Park, N.J.
Martin, 6-1 and 185 pounds, started 12 games in center field before he took over as the Georgia State’s everyday shortstop. As a sophomore for the Panthers in 2024, he batted .297 with 46 hits, including 12 doubles. He drew 32 walks and had a .430 on-base percentage, which both ranked second on the team. Martin was a home run shy of hitting for the cycle during a 19-8 victory over Southern Miss on April 13. He is playing this summer for the Willmar Stingers at the Northwoods League.

Hometown: Lima, Ohio
Maxwell was honorable mention All-Big 12 as a junior when he batted .335 with 12 doubles, 2 triples and 3 home runs for the Horned Frogs. He had a .447 on-base percentage and .427 slugging percentage for an OPS of .874, and added 2 sacrifice flies and 5 sac bunts, and was successful on 10 of 12 stolen-base attempts.
• ROCCO PEPPI, OF

2025 Classification: Redshirt Senior
Hometown: Huntington Beach, Calif.
Peppi batted .327 from the right side with 14 home runs, 16 doubles, 56 RBI and 43 runs scored in 56 games in his only year at Fresno State. He started in left field 38 times. He was honorable mention All-Big West as a redshirt freshman at Long Beach State in 2022 after leading the team with 23 multiple-hit games. He batted .278 with 6 home runs, 14 doubles and 33 RBI in 2023.

Hometown: Elkhorn, Neb.
Peterson led NJCAA Division I with a .507 batting average as a sophomore in 2024. He recorded 107 hits, 21 doubles, 15 home runs and 6 triples. He ranked third in NJCAA in RBIs (91), total bases (185) and on-base percentage (.585). He walked and struck out 35 times apiece. Peterson had a .994 fielding percentage with just 2 errors in 363 total chances. He caught five runners stealing and had two passed balls. Peterson was an NJCAA All-American.
• KOLTON REYNOLDS, OF

Hometown: Huntsville, Ark.
Reynolds was a two-time NJCAA All-American at a program that has had a long history with the Razorbacks. Reynolds batted .369 with 24 doubles, 5 triples and 10 home runs and drove in 68 runs as a sophomore. He batted .399 with 19 home runs and 79 RBI as a freshman.
• ZACH ROOT, LHP

Hometown: Fort Myers, Fla.
Root is considered one of the top left-handed pitcher prospects for the 2025 MLB Draft. He had a 6-2 record as a sophomore in 2024 with a 3.56 ERA in 68 1/3 innings. Root had a 3.62 strikeout-to-walk ratio with 76 strikeouts against 21 walks. On3.com rated Root the No. 4 player and top pitcher available in the transfer portal at the time of his commitment.

Rowan batted .403 with 11 doubles, 1 triple, 10 home runs and 41 RBI in 35 games as a third baseman. He had an OPS of 1.275.

Schrack batted .348 with 2 home runs and 42 RBI and 45 runs in 57 games while playing third base. He was successful in 13 of 16 stolen-base attempts.
• JUSTIN THOMAS, OF

Hometown: Savannah, Ga.
Thomas began his career at Georgia and batted .193 in 40 at-bats as a freshman for the Bulldogs with 1 double, 1 home run and 5 RBI in 2023. Playing at Florida SouthWestern State College this year, Thomas batted .393 with a 1.113 OPS. He homered 14 times, doubled 21 times and tripled twice, scored 86 runs and drove in 49, and was successful in 35 of 42 stolen-base attempts. He was an NJCAA All-American. Thomas is draft eligible and is rated the No. 327 prospect by Baseball America.
TRANSFERRING FROM ARKANSAS TO ANOTHER PROGRAM
• ADAM HACHMAN, LHP
New school: Uncommitted
Hachman redshirted as a freshman this season. Perfect Game ranked him the No. 55 overall prospect and the No. 8 left-handed pitcher in the class of 2023, as well as the top overall player out of Missouri in his class.
• WILL EDMUNSON, OF
New school: Uncommitted
Edmunson spent one season with Arkansas after transferring from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College. As a junior in 2024, Edmunson played in 39 games and started 22. He slashed .241/.362/.333 with 1 home run, 5 doubles and 10 RBI.
• JAYSON JONES, OF/INF
New School: Oklahoma State
Jones showed big power potential, but also a lot of swing and miss during his two years with the Razorbacks. He has 5 doubles, 6 home runs and 41 strikeouts in 118 college at-bats. Jones practiced at third base last fall and was given playing time in left field during his sophomore season when he played 23 games. Jones was a high draft prospect out of high school in North Texas and was ranked the No. 5 overall prospect in the class of 2022.
• HUNTER GRIMES, OF/INF
New School: Uncommitted
Grimes, who will turn 25 prior to the 2025 season, has redshirted twice and got a bonus year that was afforded to players affected by the pandemic-shortened season. Grimes previously played at Texas-San Antonio and McLennan (Texas) Community College. He played in 19 games and started five times on the Razorbacks’ SEC championship team in 2023, and his late-game assist to home plate from left field was key to a victory over Texas A&M that year. Grimes did not play in 2024.
• KADE SMITH, OF
New School: Harding University
Smith, a two-sport star at Harding Academy, will return to his hometown of Searcy after he redshirted his freshman season with the Razorbacks.
