Travel advisories could affect fourth of July travel

CADDO CO., Okla. (KSWO) – If you’re planning to travel for the July 4 weekend, there are several construction projects you should know about in Caddo and Jackson counties.

First, in Caddo County, east and westbound lanes of I-40 will be narrowed to a single lane in each direction, just east of Hydro, from mile-marker 89 to 101 near US 281 in Hinton.

In Jackson county, two projects to be mindful of include US 62 that’s narrowed near Altus for pavement resurfacing. And State Highway 6 near Eldorado is closed near State Highway 34 over Gypsum Creek.

A detour is currently in place until the project is completed.
