Travel, food and music in the Canandaigua area this week. Here’s a few things to do.

The Eagles, also famously, harmoniously and awesomely, sang about “Life in the Fast Lane,” a song that we’re sure you’ll hear in a performance at the Fort Hill Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua later this week.

But how did folks get around or maneuver the intricacies of the Finger Lakes area fast lanes back in the day? There are a few ways to find out.

Here’s what’s happening this week.
