The 14,000-square-foot Club located in Concourse A seats 246 guests and is suited for business and leisure travelers alike.
Beginning Dec. 18, Delta Sky Club will open its doors to the first-ever location at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), elevating the travel experience for all Delta customers flying in and out of the Queen City.
The new 14,000-plus-square-foot Club, located on the mezzanine level of CLT’s recently expanded Concourse A, seats 246 and overlooks both the airfield and concourse below.
The Neoclassic design draws inspiration from city-namesake Queen Charlotte and her long-lasting influence on fashion and aesthetics, with an emphasis on botany and bold, floral motifs. The natural elements and materials featured in the Club highlight Charlotte’s tree conservatory efforts and green spaces, honoring the city’s deep ties to nature.
With a large food buffet, two beverage stations and a dedicated quiet space with six soundproof booths (including an ADA-compliant option) for focused work, the Club is suited for business and leisure travelers alike.
“It’s always exciting to plant roots in a new market and introduce Delta Sky Club to a new group of customers,” said Claude Roussel, Vice President – Delta Sky Club and Lounge Experience. “We can’t wait for our Charlotte guests to experience the amenities and hospitality that have made our Clubs so popular across the country.”
The opening of the new Club marks an important milestone as Delta continues to strengthen its presence in Charlotte. From CLT, Delta provides daily service to seven Delta hubs (ATL, DTW, MSP, SLC, BOS, LGA and JFK). Via those hubs, Delta customers have one-stop access to most of Delta’s vast network.
