TLH’s Deputy Director of Aviation Vanessa Spaulding shared a few tips regarding holiday travel.
The Travel Security Administration (TSA) has a program, aimed at helping disabled individuals through the security line. With the addition of updated machines, travelers do not have to take items out of their bags on the roller
Additionally, the number of passengers at Tallahassee International Airport continues to rise, even despite JetBlue’s departure from the airport in July. JetBlue suspended its services due to underperformance and lack of customer demand, according to the JetBlue Corporate Communications Team.
In October, more than 88,000 passengers flew at TLH, an increase of 6,000 people walking through the terminal.
TLH sees between 20 to 30 departures and arrivals each day.
During the holiday period, Spaulding said the airport has seen more service members and families.
