Troup County announces ‘All-New’ LED Sports Lighting System at Callaway Stadium

TROUP COUNTY, Ga. (WTVM) – The Troup County Board of Commissioners announced its completion of a lighting upgrade project at Callaway Stadium.

The work included removing the original lighting system and installing an entirely new LED stadium and field lighting system – which will provide a brighter and more even distribution of light on the playing surface.

The upgrades include new foundations, poles, bracket mounting arms, LED, light racks, and new electrical and control systems funded by SPLOST 6. The LED system will be more efficient for Callaway Stadium and includes a new light show entertainment system with color options and emergency egress lighting for the stadium area.

Jones also said that the new lights can blink and change color.
