“TRT Is Not Natural”: Fitness Influencer Claiming to Be Most Jacked 53-YO Gets Ripped Apart by Bodybuilding Fans

David Getz is not your average influencer. While most famous fitness influencers are younger, Getz belongs to the select few who have made a mark in the online fitness space despite being older. However, the fat loss and bodybuilding coach drew the ire of the fitness community for naming himself the “most jacked natural 53-year-old on the planet.”

Although Getz doesn’t have as much muscle as 55-year-old Mike O’Hearn, the fitness community didn’t seem convinced by his claim. However, this was only the beginning as the bodybuilding competition wrote a lengthy caption. Getz claimed that “Exercise is the easy part,” and most people fail because they don’t remain consistent or don’t follow a proper diet.

The fitness influencer also went after people who think only those who take banned substances or TRT could get a physique like Getz in their 50s. “I’m sorry to break it to you, but you CAN get lean naturally… I’ve done it, and so have my clients,” claimed the bodybuilder. While he had no issues with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), he felt glad that he didn’t require it.

The bodybuilding enthusiast has showcased his transformation. Although he liked working out Getz started to train and diet seriously at 47. The bodybuilder was overweight and “anxious about turning 50.” However, he took action, transformed his physique, and felt better mentally and physically. He even competed in and won a bodybuilding contest.

The 53-year-old was confident about his transformation and even offered to share his blood work. David Getz told people to comment “labs” if they desire to see a video on his blood work. However, the fitness community thought that David Getz was going out of his way to prove that he was a natural bodybuilder.

The fitness community remained skeptical and critical

⁣Many bodybuilding and fitness enthusiasts were convinced David Getz was hiding the truth. “Clearly lying and not 100 percent natty,” wrote one user. “When they go out of their way to say ‘natty’ you know they ain’t,” commented another bodybuilding fan. One Instagram user even said that Getz was lying about TRT. “TRT is not natural,” he commented.

Another netizen commented about the blood work not proving he was natural. “You know blood work won’t show that you’re using the appropriate dose of TRT. It will be within ‘normal’ range silly!” wrote the fan, because TRT is meant to treat people with low testosterone to reach normal levels. “Those who have to prove their worth are weak-minded… This video screams insecurity. What are you trying to prove?” wrote the fitness enthusiast.

However, David Getz stuck to his claims despite the backlash. He even responded to several comments accusing him of hiding PED use. What did you feel about the fitness influencers’ claim? Let us know in the comments.
