The Denver Broncos fell to the Kansas City Chiefs 16-14 on Sunday after their last-second field goal attempt was blocked on the final play of the game.
Here’s a sampling of how fans and pundits reacted to the loss on Twitter/X.
This is one of the worst endings Ive ever experienced in a football game. God I hate the Chiefs pic.twitter.com/7BJ0zQvKTJ

At Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs are Lucy and the Broncos are Charlie Brown. Lucy is mean and utterly unlikeable. pic.twitter.com/eB3LGYR4OM

Am I surprised the Chiefs won? No
Am I going to let this affect my mood for the rest of the week? Yes

Ay man, well the young Broncos belong. Overall, positive game for a lot of players I think are in the Broncos future and coaching staff.

Thats one of the more painful losses I can remember (in large part cause there are stakes now) BUT I think Broncos Country should generally feel good about what the team showed
KC has an elite defense, are atop-2 team in the NFL and Nix and the Broncos more than held their own

As much as it hurts to lose, I’m more optimistic about the Broncos now.
They are getting better overall. Bo Nix played a good game against a top defense. The talent is there even if experience isn’t there yet.
The Broncos are going to be all right.

Up next for the Broncos is a home game against the Atlanta Falcons at Empower Field at Mile High in Week 11.
