Two arrested after SF business allegedly robbed at gunpoint
SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Two people were arrested on Sunday in connection to the armed robbery of a San Francisco business, the San Francisco Police Department said. The alleged robbery happened on the night of June 21.
At about 9:30 p.m. that night, SFPD responded to the victimized business on the 1200 block of Valencia Street. Police learned that a man tried to leave the store with stolen items, and he brandished a pistol at an employee who tried to stop him.
He then left the store and was driven away in a car driven by a female suspect. Police obtained images of the suspect and identified him as 19-year-old Fabian Gonzales Vancorner.
On Sunday, Gonzales Vancorner was spotted in a car near the 1400 block of Flounder Court. He was arrested at the scene, and officers seized a loaded gun.
A female was in the car at the time, and she was arrested as well. SFPD identified her as 19-year-old Ana Reyes.
SFPD served a search warrant at Gonzales Vancorner’s home and seized an assault rifle, a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition and other firearm-related items.
Gonzales Vancorner was booked into jail for charges related to armed robbery, firearms charges, and conspiracy. Reyes was arrested for firearms violations and conspiracy.
