Two arrested in Priceville after business report stolen checks

PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Two people are in jail after police say they tried to cash stolen checks in Priceville.

On April 13, Priceville Police received a report from a local business that someone had tried to cash stolen checks. The police department opened an investigation.

Kristopher James Clemons was named as a suspect and was arrested on April 26 at his home on Shoal Creek Rd.

Police also arrested Sharlene Marie Graham and charged her with obstructing justice by using a false identity to avoid arrest. She also had outstanding warrants with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.

Both were taken to the Morgan County Jail. Clemons was given a $10,000 bond while Graham was given $10,000 plus her outstanding warrants.
