Two Ham’N Goodys stores to close due to ‘lack of business’

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Ham’N Goodys, the popular East Tennessee bakery and café best known for their lemon cookies, announced that two of its locations will close at the end of June “due to lack of business.”

The business announced Tuesday on social media that its location at 5541 Clinton Highway and the Sevierville store at 739 Dolly Parton Parkway will close at the end of the month.

Stores at 314 S Northshore Drive, 1049 N Cedar Bluff Road, and 507 S Gay Street remain open.

The Sevierville store was the first Ham’N Goodys outside Knox County when it opened in January 2023. The Clinton location opened in April 2023.

Ham’N Goodys first opened its original store on Northshore Drive in 1978.
