Tyla was among the stars who attended the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Oct. 15 in New York City. The Grammy-winning singer took the runway during the show and performed a medley of songs from her debut, self-titled album.
While the singer brought energy to the runway as models hit the catwalk for the first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show following a six-year hiatus, the singer also garnered a lot of media interest. Tyla generated $2 million in media impact value through four of her social media posts, according to Launchmetrics. (MIV is a proprietary metric that assigns a true monetary value to marketing strategies across print, online and social media to calculate ROI.)
Along with Tyla, Blackpink’s Lisa, who performed twice on the runway, generated $1.6 million in MIV with one single post. Overall, the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show generated $304.8M in MIV — nearly as much as last September’s New York Fashion Week, where designers showcased collections for the spring 2025 season.
Prior to her performance on the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway, Tyla appeared on the red carpet. For the occasion, Tyla took inspiration from the brand by wearing a pink dress by Salih Balta.
The ornate dress featured a bevy of sultry cutouts, a staple when it comes to Tyla’s red carpet style. The dress also featured a flowing train.
Tyla accessorized her look with bedazzled open-toe heels, a diamond-encrusted choker and layered rings.
Following a six-year hiatus, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to New York City on Oct. 15. The fashion show aired live on Prime Video and across Victoria’s Secret’s YouTube, Instagram and TikTok platforms. Former Angels such as Tyra Banks, Candace Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio and Taylor Hill hit the runway alongside new faces like Paloma Elsesser and Devyn Garcia. Cher and Lisa of Blackpink served alongside Tyla as the evening’s musical guests.
