Tyler Childers bringing ‘On The Road’ tour to Kroger Field
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky’s own is coming home.
Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and musician Tyler Childers will headline the University of Kentucky’s Kroger Field Saturday, April 19, 2025, in Lexington, as part of his “On the Road” tour. The show will feature special guests and Kentucky natives Wynonna Judd and S.G. Goodman.
Fans interested in attending can register for Childers’ ticket presale now through Sunday, Nov. 17 at 11:59 p.m. eastern, which will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19. General public onsale begins Friday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m.
Childers released his acclaimed album “Rustin’ in the Rain” in Sept. 2023, including the two-time Grammy, Video Music Award and Academy of Country Music-nominated single “In Your Love.” It has broken into the top 35 on the Mediabase Country chart and gained more than 12 million video views and 215 million on-demand streams since its release. He is coming off his “Mule Pull” tour, which included sold-out shows at venues such as Madison Square Garden and the Kia Forum near Los Angeles.
UK Athletics said all sales will take place online through Ticketmaster, and there will be no in-person box office sales. The department added $1 from every ticket sold will benefit both Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund (HHARF) and REVERB. Childers helped establish HHARF in 2020, which brings awareness to philanthropic efforts in the Appalachian region. REVERB is a nonprofit that works to curb environmental impact in live music and has partnered with acts such as Childers, Billie Eilish, Dave Matthews Band and Dead & Company.
This will be the second concert ever held at Kroger Field, following Chris Stapleton’s 2022 performance. Childers also headlined the closing night of Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville this past September.
