Once the Thanksgiving festivities wrap it’s all about the deals. Black Friday is a shopper’s delight, while Cyber Monday lets you score the best deals from the comfort of your home. And for savvy travelers there’s Travel Tuesday, featuring discounts on airfare, cruises, hotels and more. Here are some of the deals on flights you can get from United, Delta and American.

What is Travel Tuesday?

Black Friday came on the scene first, when stores around the country unleashed some of the biggest sales of the year on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Cyber Monday followed, with deals for online shoppers. For those looking to spend on experiences rather than material things, Travel Tuesday is the travel industry’s answer to those big sale days. You’ll find deep discounts on airfare, cruises, hotels and other travel-related services. Many airlines also offer sales starting on Black Friday and running through Travel Tuesday, while some add extra deals on the actual day.

When is Travel Tuesday this year?

Travel Tuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which falls on Tuesday, December 3 this year.

What deals are Delta, American and United offering for Travel Tuesday?

Some airlines like JetBlue and Southwest have announced extended Black Friday/early Travel Tuesday deals, other airlines reveal sales on the day of. Here’s what Delta, American and United currently offer, but tune in tomorrow to see if you can score more.

Delta Airlines is offering members additional miles and extra rewards through December 4, 2024. The bonus rewards include 5x miles on Delta gift cards, 4x miles with Delta Cars, Delta Cruises and Delta Stays and a 10% discount on Delta Vacations.

American Airlines has flights to Europe starting at $599 round trip and domestic flights for less than $100.

United is featuring their ongoing deals from cities including Houston, Chicago, San Francisco and NYC.
