United Way of Marquette County hosts Business After Hours Party
MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – The United Way of Marquette County celebrated a successful 2023-2024 campaign on Tuesday.
The organization hosted a Business After Hours party at the Ore Dock Brewing Co. Dozens of community members, businesses and United Way staff members packed the bar for a night of casual networking, food and prizes.
Organizers say the event was also a way to celebrate this year’s United Way Campaign.
“We help fund 26 local programs,” United Way of Marquette County Executive Director Andrew Rickauer said. “Whether it’s youth, food security, or housing senior programs. [It’s] a real broad spectrum.”
Nonprofits can still apply for next year’s round of campaign scholarships here. The deadline to do so is Wednesday.
