US unscripted prodco Apploff Entertainment promotes Rayna Apploff, Zach Gelfand
LA-based unscripted outfit Apploff Entertainment has bolstered its creative team with the promotions of Rayna Apploff to VP of talent and Zach Gelfand to manager of development.
In her new role, Apploff will be responsible for casting all contestants and celebrities in the prodco’s gameshows, including Don’t Forget the Lyrics! and Beat Shazam, both for Fox.
She is also tasked with nurturing the relationships between hosts and partnering networks across the company’s portfolio of IP.
Apploff has spent 15 years at Apploff Entertainment, previously serving as co-executive producer and supervising producer.
Her credits include the Fox formats Game of Talents, Mental Samurai and Don’t Forget the Lyrics, plus The Wheel (NBC) and Lotería Loca (CBS).
Prior to joining the company, Apploff worked on gameshows such as America’s Got Talent and The Marriage Ref, both for NBC, plus Match Game, Password and Press Your Luck for ABC.
Meanwhile, as development manager, Gelfand will play a key role in shaping the company’s current slate, by collaborating with producers, showrunners and creative teams.
In his two years with Apploff Entertainment, he has supported programming including Don’t Forget the Lyrics, Beat Shazam, We Are Family and Lotería Loca.
