Chris Peters On USA Vs. Czechia
“The U.S. has a team that can do a bit more east-west and will use their feet well in transition. The American D corps is just good enough at moving pucks throughout their lineup to get it to the forwards quickly. As a result, USA can get behind the defense and direct more pucks to the net from in tight.”

Finland Defeats Sweden, Will Play Winner of USA-CZE
Final defeated Sweden in overtime after some masterful goalkeeping from Petteri Rimpinen.
Sweden brought an onslaught of shots in the fourth quarter and OT, but the Finnish were able to weather that and a power-play before Benjamin Rautiainen scored in the waning seconds of overtime. Had Rautiainen not put one away, the game would’ve gone to a shootout.
Finland have guaranteed themselves a medal at WJC 2025.
