VCHA’s KG files a lawsuit to terminate her contract with JYP Entertainment, claiming abuse and mistreatment

KG, a member of VCHA, JYP Entertainment‘s latest global girl group formed through the audition program ‘A2K‘, recently announced that she has filed a lawsuit to terminate her contract with JYP Entertainment and leave VCHA.

In an Instagram story, she claimed that she “experienced incidents of abuse and mistreatment by certain staff members” and insinuated that the working environment and living conditions had led members to extreme measures such as eating disorders and self-harm.

However, she also expressed her gratitude towards key figures such as J.Y. Park himself and the company executives, acknowledging that they are not to blame. She attributed the problems to the environment deeply embedded in the K-Pop industry.

The full story is as follows:

Meanwhile, it was also announced earlier last month that VCHA will be making a comeback in 2025.

Wishing both VCHA and KG all the best in their future endeavors.
