Ahead, learn more details about the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and what will be different with the 2024 showcase.
When is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show?
On Wednesday, the official Victoria’s Secret Instagram account released a video featuring Tyra Banks and Gigi Hadid. Both models have walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in the past — Banks walked the runway as an Angel in nine shows, while Hadid has walked the runway three times for the retailer.
The video announced the location and date of the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which will be held in New York City on Oct. 15.
Who will walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show?
Imaan Hammam, Candice Swanepoel, Paloma Elsesser, Devyn Garcia, Taylor Hill and Mayowa Nicholas are among the models already announced for the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway.
Candice Swanepoel
The supermodel makes her return to the brand after appearing in 11 shows. She became a VS Angel in 2010. In 2013 she wore the VS Fantasy Bra, which was worth $10 million at the time. Throughout her 20-year career, she has appeared on the runway for Fendi, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab and more.
Taylor Hill

Imaan Hammam
Imaan Hammam has walked in only one Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — the 2014 show held in London. The model has walked the runways for such brands and fashion houses as Alexander McQueen, Ralph Lauren, Prada, Michael Kors and Jean Paul Gaultier, among others.
Paloma Elsesser
Paloma Elsesser will make her Victoria’s Secret runway debut with the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in October 2024. The model has walked the runway for such designers and brands as Hermès, Mugler, Ferragamo and Carolina Herrera, among others.

Devyn Garcia will make her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut in October 2024, as well. The model has appeared in campaigns for Nordstrom and H&M.
Tyra Banks

Gigi Hadid
Gigi Hadid has walked in three Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows, including the 2023 Tour, as well as the 2015, 2016 and 2018 shows. She has also modeled for fashion houses like Fendi, Versace, Valentino and more.
More additions to the cast will be announced ahead of the show in October.
What’s different about the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show?
“We’ve read the comments and heard you,” a post from the company’s official Instagram account, shared last May, read. “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back and will reflect who we are today, plus everything you know and love — the glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment and more. Stay tuned…it only gets more iconic from here.”
The last Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place in 2018 and featured Victoria’s Secret Angels and musical performances by Shawn Mendes, Rita Ora, The Chainsmokers, Bebe Rexha, Halsey, Leela James, Kelsea Ballerini and The Struts. The 2019 show was canceled after the company “was plagued with accusations of workplace toxicity amid the burgeoning #MeToo movement,” WWD previously reported.
In 2023, Victoria’s Secret returned to the small screen with “The Victoria’s Secret World Tour,” which was available on Amazon Prime’s streaming platform. Raúl Martinez, executive vice president and head creative director at Victoria’s Secret, told WWD the film was “the ultimate expression of the Victoria’s Secret brand transformation.”
In a joint interview in July, Janie Schaffer, chief design and creative officer, and Sarah Sylvester, executive vice president of marketing, discussed their plans for the return of the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in 2024.
“We have moved on as a business so much over the last three years, and we have really been transforming hugely. We are very comfortable with where we are getting to as a brand, and feeling super confident,” said Schaffer. “This is really a celebration of everything we’ve been doing. Believe me, we have got such super fans out there that there is an element where people are saying, ‘You bring it back exactly as it was before. Bring back exactly the same models, and don’t change anything!’” she added.
Schaffer joined the Victoria’s Secret team in 2008, left in 2012, and returned to the company in 2020.
