Victoria’s Secret ‘Store of the Future’ now open at Miromar Outlets in Estero
Amazon is getting rid of ‘Just Walk Out’ technology at its grocery stores
While customers have said they enjoy the process, they wish they could view their receipts and savings while they are shopping, according to Amazon spokesperson Carly Golden.

What does the future look like? Victoria’s Secret its taking steps to give its customers a view and they don’t need a time machine to get there.
In Southwest Florida you only have to find your way to Miromar Outlets in Estero to experience what Victoria’s Secret is calling its Store of the Future, which opened on May 3 at the popular shopping mall along with VS PINK. The store (E-158) is located on the east side of the outlets, between Hurley and J. Crew.
According to the Victoria’s Secret website, the company started rolling out its Store of the Future concept in 2021.

- “We began giving our stores the ultimate makeover with the aim of both creating a deeper connection with our customers and reducing our environmental footprint,” a statement on the company’s website said.
- From the Miromar Outlets website: “This groundbreaking store concept marks an exciting era in retail, combining sustainability, customer-centric design, and cutting-edge technology to elevate the shopping experience like never before!”
Victoria’s Secret Store of the Future: What to know
According to the Victoria’s Secret website, the design of the Store of the Future is focused on making our customers feel welcome with features like:
- mannequins of multiple sizes
- soft lighting
- technology-first features and inclusive product offerings.
- smaller, more efficient store formats.
- more efficient lighting
- HVAC systems
- low-flow toilets
- hand dryers
- bottle fillers
The Store of the Future design also features “Crave,” a fitting room technology that allows Victoria’s Secret to meet each consumer’s unique needs, including language translation services. It integrates with radio- frequency identification (RFID) tags on our garments, which helps the company to manage product inventory in real time to improve allocation of product in stores.
And possibly more to come.
“As we expand our fleet of stores with this updated design, we will continue to evaluate average energy savings of this design compared to our conventional design,” it said on the website.
