Video: Masked man breaks into and steals from Catawba County business

CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in a recent store break-in and robbery.

Early Monday morning, June 17, deputies said Propst Superette Store #5 located at 3890 Section House Road was broken into and robbed by a masked man.

Deputies said this man chucked a rock through the glass front doors and stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise.

The masked man was able to flee the scene and was last seen running away, towards Conover.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black cut-off hoodie with a white short-sleeve t-shirt underneath, a black mask, white gloves, cargo shorts, and white sneakers.
