Vikings travel to take on Packers after open week

LOWNDES CO – The Vikings will return to play the Colquitt County Packers this Friday after an open week and a 5-0 start to the season.

After an open week and enjoying their 5-0 start, our Vikings return to play on Friday, September 27, when they travel to Moultrie, GA and begin Region 1-6A play against Colquitt County Packers.  Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm at Mack Tharpe Stadium located at 1000 Stadium Drive SW in Moultrie. 

Tickets for this game will be on sale the week of the game.  Tickets will go on sale at the Viking Touchdown Club meeting on Monday night September 23.  The TD Club meets at 6:00 pm in the Board of Education building on Norman Drive.  The Club meets in meeting rooms 1 & 2 of the building.  Members should use the side entrances facing the parking lot to enter the meetings.  Meetings are open to all members and every member is welcomed.  Attending meetings is a great way to show your support and obtain the latest information on your Vikings.  Coach Carter will address the group at the beginning of the meeting.  He will review the Kell game and discuss the upcoming game in Moultrie.  

Tickets are $10 each and are for general admission seating.  All fans, except babies in arms, must have a ticket to enter.  All tickets at the gate are $12 each.

After Monday night, tickets will be sold the rest of the week at the Viking Athletic Ticket Office.  The ticket office is located in the Board of Education building on Norman Drive.  The entrance is on the east end across from Goo Goo Car Wash.  The ticket office will be closed on Monday.  Ticket office hours for the remainder of the week are Tuesday – Thursday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm and Friday 9:00 am till Noon.
