The original The Quintessential Quintuplets anime may be over, but its star voice actors just brought the series to life in an unexpected fashion — literally. Nino and Miku’s voice actors, Ayana Taketatsu and Miku Ito, have traded the recording booth for the runway, taking to X (formerly Twitter) to model a new apparel collection featuring outfits inspired by their characters’ would-be “commuting style.”
Only Nino and Miku were highlighted in the post, but the official The Quintessential Quintuplets apparel line features all five Nakano sisters: Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba and Itsuki. Each gets designs sporting colors, motifs and styles tied to the characters’ personalities, as highlighted in an official product listing.

The Quintessential Quintuplets’ Voice Actors Go ‘Live-Action’ for New Merchandise Collection
Although fans would doubtless be excited about a proper live-action TV series — and Taketatsu and Ito certainly look the part — the new Quintessential Quintuplets merchandise provides fans with new ways to celebrate the manga and anime, offering a pseudo-continuation of the canon. The collection takes fans beyond the classroom and into the everyday lives of the Nakano sisters, channeling aged-up adult versions of Nino and Miku via contemporary takes on their personalities, albeit through a fashion lens.
The Quintessential Quintuplets has been a fan-favorite harem rom-com story since its original Weekly Shonen Magazine manga days, selling over 20 million copies from 2017 to 2020. It then enjoyed a run atop the romance anime world, with its original adaptation running from 2019 through 2022. An animated sequel special is now set for TV release in Winter 2024. In the meantime, The Quintessential Quintuplets apparel collection is available for preorder until Dec. 1, 2024, with the release expected to ship in late December 2024.
