VOTE for the North Jersey HS Sports Team of the Week for April 15-21

After another thrilling week of the spring high school sports season, it’s time to look back on the top team performances.

Read about the teams that stood out last week and vote for the Team of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page.

Voting closes at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Demarest boys track and field

The Norsemen won four events at Saturday’s Bergen County Jack Yockers Relays and placed second in two others.

Glen Rock baseball

The Panthers went 3-0 last week, outscoring opponents 45-12. They are now 7-0-1, winning seven straight games after a season-opening tie against Dwight-Englewood.

Pompton Lakes girls lacrosse

The Cardinals won three games on the road last week and are now 5-1 for the first time in program history.

Ramsey girls track and field

The Rams won every relay event in Group C at Saturday’s Bergen County Jack Yockers Relays.

Ridgefield Park softball

The Scarlets went 4-0 last week, capping the week with a 5-1 win over highly-ranked Indian Hills. They’ve now won seven games in a row.

Tenafly boys lacrosse

The Tigers bounced back from back-to-back losses with three straight wins last week. They outscored opponents 44-11.

Wallington softball

The Panthers went 4-0 last week, finishing the week with by handing Emerson its second loss of the season.

Wayne Valley baseball

The Indians put together a 4-0 week and have now won six straight games since starting the season 0-4.
