WAGM to Host Job Fair at the Caribou Wellness Center

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) –

Staffing shortages continue to remain a reality for many businesses in Aroostook County and Nationwide. In an effort to help better connect job seekers and employers WAGM will be holding our first ever job fair on September 19th from 10 to 2 at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center.

WAGM General Manager Kelly Landeen says she hopes the events timing will benefit the community. “We know that many employers are looking for employees, and we just felt that since there isn’t a job fair in the fall and with everything happening right now, we just felt that it was very dire to have one right now. We would like to invite anyone who is looking for a new job or looking for their first job to bring their resumes, come in, visit all the booth space and I think it would be a great opportunity to see who’s out there looking in the county.” Employers interested in participating in the WAGM Job Fair on September 19th can reach out to Bernie Legasse.
