The Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce announced Thursday they will invite area business owners to attend a monthly professional development series called Wasatch Back Business University, an event in partnership with America First Credit Union, the groups said.
The course will be held in Heber City on Wednesday, Nov. 6., and future sessions will alternate between Park City and Heber City.
The free and monthly professional development series is “designed to empower local business owners and professionals and provide attendees with custom-tailored insights and practical tools for success in today’s business environment,” according to a press release.
The event will also offer lunch and a chance to network.
The event series’ schedule is as follows:
- Financial Planning and Cash Flow Management | Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | Utah Valley University — Wasatch Campus: As 2024 wraps up, it’s crucial for businesses to review their finances and plan ahead. This training will provide guidance on budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow management and tax planning. Tickets can be purchased here.
- Strategic Marketing and Customer Retention | Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | Blair Education Center at Intermountain Park City Hospital: As competition intensifies, effective product marketing and customer retention is essential. This training will explore the latest digital marketing trends, such as social media strategies, content marketing and data analytics and customer retention strategies, including exceptional service and loyalty programs.
