WATCH: Who’s going to tell Trump that he’s campaigning for a ‘Black’ job, Michelle Obama asks

At the Democratic National Convention in Chicago Tuesday night, former first lady Michelle Obama said former President Donald Trump felt “threatened” by her and her husband, former President Barack Obama, “two hard-working and highly educated, successful people who happen to be Black.”

To raucous cheers, she continued, “I want to know — who’s going to tell him that the job he’s currently seeking might just be one of those ‘Black jobs?’”

Obama was referencing a moment at a National Association of Black Journalists conference when Trump referred to migrants taking “Black jobs.”

The second night of the DNC was devoted to bringing “bold vision” to America’s future and a new generation of Democratic leadership. Later in the week, Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will formally accept their nominations as the party’s candidates.
